We love dads. Especially dads who shave their heads to help take childhood back from cancer!

BestBaldDad photo contest 2017

Father’s Day is around the corner, and we want to give some extra love to all the awesome dads who’ve given up their hair to raise money for kids’ cancer research.

Today until June 11, show us your #BestBaldDad photos for a chance to win some St. Baldrick’s swag and a beanie from Love Your Melon!

We’ll put all the photo submissions in a Facebook album for you to vote on your favorite. The photo with the most likes will win the title of the #BestBaldDad — simple as that!

Here’s the nitty-gritty.

Submit your entry: June 6-11

  1. Choose your photo. If your dad shaved recently for St. Baldrick’s, snap a pic of him. If it’s been a while, dig up those photos and choose your favorite.
  2. Post your photo. Post it on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook and tell us why you think he’s the best! Don’t forget to use the hashtag #BestBaldDad and tag St. Baldrick’s. Your post must be public in order for us to see it. Non-public photos will not be counted.
  3.  Keep in mind there’s a deadline. If you miss the deadline to submit your photo by June 11, we are not able to add you to the album.

Voting: June 12-16

  1. Cast your vote. On June 12, once you see the #BestBaldDad Facebook photo album go live, like your photo to cast your vote. Be sure to get your vote in by Friday, June 16 at 3 p.m. PST.
  2. Spread the love. Share the album with your friends and ask them to like your photo, too!

Winner announced: June 18

On Father’s Day, the photo with the most likes in the #BestBaldDad Facebook album will be crowned the winner!

Prizes

Three lucky winners will get a goodie from the St. Baldrick’s shop AND an item of their choosing from our non-profit partner, Love Your Melon! For every piece of apparel purchased, a portion is donated to non-profit partners and one Love Your Melon hat is given to a child with cancer.
