Our Community

Young and old, rich and poor, rural folk and city dwellers, from all corners of the Earth are at the heart of the St. Baldrick's Foundation's community. Together, they have made St. Baldrick's the world's largest volunteer-driven fundraising program for childhood cancer research.

Children and their families are at the core of the St. Baldrick's mission to fund lifesaving research. By sharing their unique stories, struggles and triumphs, they bring hope to other families and the countless supporters of the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Money raised by St. Baldrick's volunteers is used to support only the best pediatric cancer researchers. They are chosen through a rigorous peer-review process and monitored every step of the way. Many of our researchers have shaved their heads as well, giving a double-dose of support for kids with cancer. Learn about our researchers and the work they're doing to fight kids’ cancer.
