Scientific Advisors

These internationally respected pediatric oncology research thought leaders advise the St. Baldrick’s Foundation in all matters related to childhood cancer research and shape the Foundation’s scientific strategy. They help develop new grant programs, public policy positions on issues regarding research and the care of children with cancer, and advise on the training of researchers and the diverse needs of children with cancer and the institutions that treat them, as well as the best ways to find new cures for kids and to give survivors long and healthy lives. Meet the Advisors.

Advocacy Advisors

This group of public policy experts, physician-scientists and parents of children with cancer work together to advise on strategies to advance federal legislation on behalf of children with cancer. Their efforts lead to increased federal funding for research, and changes in federal policies to better meet the needs of children with cancer and childhood cancer survivors. Volunteer Event Organizers

Believe it or not, every St. Baldrick’s event is organized by a local committee of volunteers! These dedicated individuals give countless hours of time and talent to bring St. Baldrick’s events to their communities. Each event is unique and gives people the opportunity to have fun while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research.

League of Legendary Heroes

Since St. Baldrick’s began, more than 815,000 men, women, and children have volunteered. A dedicated few have participated for 3 years or more, entering into the esteemed League of Legendary Heroes, while raising countless dollars to help kids with cancer. If you’re lucky enough to meet a Squire, Knight, Commander or Crusader, thank them for their part in advancing cures for children with cancer.
