It’s January and that means the start of a new year! Need some help beginning with a bang? We’ve got you covered! Here are 5 tips to make 2020 the best year yet, because we think it’s a great year to #DFYchildhoodCancers.

1. New Year, New You!

Challenge others to give up an indulgence for the month – then ask them to donate what they would have spent instead. They can abstain from drinking their favorite beverage or eating out and give what they save.

2. Holiday Clean-Up Crew

Know anyone who needs help taking down their holiday decor? Offer your services for a suggested donation toward your goal. Rally your teammates to assist and see how quickly the donations add up!

3. Weight Loss Challenge

Looking to take a little off the middle in the New Year? Ask friends to donate $10 for every pound you lose. It’s a win-win!

4. Brunch for a Cause

The holidays have passed, but the spirit of generosity is in the air! Invite friends over for brunch and encourage them to donate $5 a plate. They’ll have a great time catching up, eating a delicious homemade spread and supporting your goal.

5. Challenge Friends

From joining a gym to swearing off sugar, New Year’s resolutions can be hard to keep. Ask your friends to donate $25 every time they break a resolution – it’ll make them feel good to know they’re helping kids with cancer, even if they’re kicking themselves for eating that forbidden donut!

This January #DFYchildhoodCancers and do it YOUR way. Launch a Do What You Want fundraiser today.
