Participants from Towers Watson announce 22 million raised for childhood cancer research

No, you’re not seeing double — the St. Baldrick’s community has raised more than $22 million for childhood cancer research!

Sharing the news with us are our friends at Towers Watson. Employees from Towers Watson have been participating in St. Baldrick’s signature head-shaving events since 2002, raising more than $750,000 through their events held in branch offices around the world.

This month, Towers Watson events will be taking place in Philadelphia and Milwaukee. The Chicago office held their event on March 15th, and their “Creative Cuts” brought in more than $23,000 for the cause!

And when we say “creative cuts,” we mean that these brave men let people vote and bid on the unique hairstyles they would be given! (Before they went bald, that is.) Go ahead, take a closer look at the photo, and you’ll see what we’re talking about!

Get involved! Host a St. Baldrick’s event or come up with your own springtime fundraiser to conquer kids’ cancer!
