I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Kids Cancer Crew

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Kids Cancer Crew

Over the years, since I was a registered nurse from 1981-2010, caring for children with cancer I was asked why I did it or wasn't it depressing and part of that was true since it was extremely sad to see a child lose their life to cancer or see what a child would need to endure sometimes during their treatment for cancer.  However, my life has been touched over and over again by these children and their families as I have come to know them.

I am determined to make a difference for these children and one of the ways that I can make a difference is by organizing the event in our area and shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research.
