Event Details

We hope you'll join us as we honor the families of our men and women in uniform affected by childhood cancer and BRAVE THE SHAVE to help cure childhood cancer!  Whether you shave your head, volunteer, or donate we want you to be a part of the excitement.   Once again Roger Brown's Restaurant and Sports Bar will be hosting our main event with Mr. Roger Brown himself Braving the Shave!   In addition to the main event in Portsmouth, team "Big. Bold. Bald" will be shaving at Big Ugly Brewing Company in Chesapeake and CrossFit Krypton, also in Chesapeake, will be donating proceeds from a Charity WOD (workout of the day) to our event.  So we have South Hampton Roads covered!  And at the heart of our event are the friends, families, doctors, nurses, survivors, and supporters who come out every year to make our event unlike any other.  It's going to be an exciting and inspiring day that won't be forgotten.   The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.  Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers!
