My Story

Sam is a delightful boy. He is VERY intelligent and loves to read. He also loves playing outside with his dog Maddie and wrestles . Sam was born in Italy while his father was stationed there as a US Naval helo pilot. Sam is a great big brother for Peter and Mitchell. As a survivor Sam feels it is important to raise money for research.  He has shaved his own head 5 times to raise money for St. Baldrick's.  You can find his fundraising page at www.stbaldricks.org/participants/siphilips. Throughout all of his treatment Sam kept up his "spirits" and hence the spirits of all those around him! We know that God is keeping a close watch over him, but just in case, put him in your prayers. His BLOG site is www.caringbridge.org/visit/samuelphilips. Thankfully it has been pretty quite lately.

Help kids take childhood back from cancer — support lifesaving cancer research today.

Children who are fighting or have fought cancer inspire others to be part of the Foundation's mission — to support the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
