In memory of our hero, Derick.  Derick the Defeater's Team 2016 will shave/participate for the 3rd year in a row.  As Derick would say, "it's only hair" so sign up and join our team and put a price on your head/hair.  If you are not in the area you can still join the team and raise money for the event by signing up, doing a virtual shave and collect donations.  Ok, and for those who won't shave...share the link to this page with your friends and family and tell them how you know Derick and the impact he had on you during his 8 short years on this earth  or share your most memorable story about him. Also, for the nonshavers, come and cheer the rest of us on and collect donations.  It's fun and in Derick's words, "if you don't do it you STINK and lose!"  Hey, this is all in the spirit of Derick the Defeater so "man-up" and be #DerickStrong ! $$$ Research = CURE

Every 3 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer and only 4% of US federal funding is dedicated to research for ALL of the types of childhood cancer.  Can you imagine only 4% to find cures for ALL the types of childhood cancer combined!
