Shaving for Heroes Family,

It’s 2021, and who’d have thought that “2 weeks to flatten the curve” would turn into 12 months and counting.  While we’re seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, we don’t think that we’ll be where we need to be to get together in person this year, but that’s not gonna stop us!  At the heart of our event is the military families and friends who’ve come together every year to celebrate, remember, and to have fun raising money to fund cures for childhood cancer.  Whether we raise $10 or $10,000, we need to get together to celebrate our military families affected by childhood cancer, even if it’s virtual.  We’re still working on logistics, but what we’re thinking is having a week for videoing your shave then a Zoom event to re-connect, chat, share stories, and share our shaves.  Sound polished and professional?  Nope, far from it!  But we’ve got heart and a year’s worth of polishing our Zoom skills, so, sign up to shave, fundraise, or just to be there when we get together virtually.  We'll be getting together virtually on May 8th from 12-2 on Zoom so if you aren't officially signed on but would like to join, please email us and we'll send you the meeting ID and passcode.  

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers!
