8 years ago my best friend Derick started feeling sick. We didn't know it at first but eventually they discovered he had a tumor in his brain. We were both only 6 years old when Derick was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma in 2013. After almost 2 years of treatment and fighting so hard Derick would eventually pass away. We were both 8 years old. I often wonder what Derick would be like now if he hadn't gotten sick. I will always miss him.
I started shaving my head to raise money for St. Baldrick's 8 years ago. I want to help find a cure for the monster that took my childhood best friend. If you would like to help me raise money for childhood cancer research, please click the link. My family thanks you for the support and for remembering Derick.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least ten years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
