I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TEAM ABBY

We’re shaving our heads soon! Yes! We will definitely be posting pics!

The Reed Family has joined #TEAMABBY to raise donations for the St. Baldrick’s virtual Shaving For Heroes 2021 event! Thank you to everyone who has so generously donated so far! FB is currently working to move the previous donations from the original link to our new team link included here. We would like to ask for your continued support by donating and sharing this information to help us get the word out!

Our participation this year started because of dealing with my own hair loss due to some of the medications I am on, but I’ve actually wanted to participate since I was 21 and shaved my sister’s head as she was losing her own hair to chemo. All these years later, now is the perfect time to raise donations and awareness for St. Baldrick’s pediatric cancer research! I’ve asked my family if we could do our shaving on March 24, 2021 for my 40th birthday party, and Sean and Averi are in!

I’ve been thinking a lot about the special fighters, angels and survivors, their families, and special volunteers that I have known over the years, and hold preciously in my heart. This year, we will be shaving in honor of: Paige, Trevor, Brian, Kara, Ally, Morgan, Abby and Fletcher.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
