I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

This is my third year working with The St. Baldrick's Foundation to Stop Childhood cancer. My son Jared is a Hodgkin's Lymphoma survivor 3 1/2 years out of treatment and doing amazingly well. We realize that we are lucky and blessed to have our son with us here but can never forget the secondary side effects that accompany the toxic treatment used to save his life. I continue to work with the 46 Mommas not only to honor his battle with cancer but also to fight for a future without cancer for other children, to bring awareness that pediatric cancer is the number 1 killer of our children and to spread awareness that we MUST have new protocols specifically for our kids to cure them.

In 2012 I have chosen to help lead and organize the 46 Mommas shave in L.A. at the beautiful Westfield Mall in Century City on July 29th. I hope to be able to not only welcome and support the 2012 team but provide them with an event they will cherish and never forget.
Although I will not be shaving my head this year in my heart I am always a bald momma!! Please consider donating this year in honor of Jared's 18th birthday and graduation from high school. Without the strides made in the treatment of Hodgkin's Lymphoma in the past decade he might not be here. Thank You!!!
