I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I am a Childhood Cancer survivor! I was fortunate enough to not have to go through Chemotherapy or Radiation. I had a surgery and that was it. Everyday of my life I realize how lucky I am and I feel for every child that has to go through treatment! I honor every child out there going through cancer treatments by shaving my head. Also I have decided to honor them another way and I am doing 51,100 pushups this year in memory of every kid that dies of cancer each year. 1500 kids die each year of childhood cancer and I want to give them a voice and remember them somehow and I chose something I knew I could do. No child deserves to die that young and I know I would want someone to remember me if I past before my time.
