And the #1 reason to be a shavee for this event... BALD REALLY IS BEAUTIFUL and ESPECIALLY SO WHEN IT'S TO HELP KIDS WITH CANCER! Each year thousands of men, women and children sit beneath the St. Baldricks capes to emerge as bald by choice heroes raising funds and awareness for childrens cancer research while showing solidarity for all those who have no choice about losing their hair to the harshness of today's treatments.The shavee is the backbone of St. Baldricks commitment to help kids with cancer while establishing a future where kids will never have cancer again. The haircut is simply an amazing gesture of love and support for all those battling this merciless disease.
