My Story

Brandon was born on February 21, 1987 and diagnosed with his first brain tumor on October 9, 2002. He fought with amazing courage in a tough 6-year battle before leaving this earth on November 5, 2008. Brandon, the youngest child of Cleveland and Cornelia Palmer, was a very gifted student that loved basketball, cross-country and his church. He was chosen by Who's Who and was set to receive a full scholarship from Duke University. He cared very deeply for others and loved to make people laugh. He would often use his self-described alter-ego known as Tyrone to entertain those with whom he came in contact. The transformation required only a few small props so you never knew when Brandon was going to enter a room and Tyrone was going to come out. He was a remarkable young man that made quite an impact with his warm smile and good nature. Even when he knew the end was near his concern was for those he would leave behind. His time here was far too short but Brandon did use that time wisely and this world is truly a better place for his having been here.
