My Story
My name is Logan. I started vomiting constantly the day after my 5th birthday. I was diagnosed with Choroid Plexus Carcinoma (a cancerous brain tumor) back in DEC '05 when we lived in the middle of the Mojave Desert at Ft. Irwin, CA...YES, I am an 12 year SURVIVOR ;-) . Since then, we have lived in WA, HI, KS and SC. After 2 relapses, 3 craniotomies, 6 weeks of conformal radiation to the brain, 1 day of Gamma Knife radiation, 16 months of chemo, a 1 year clinical trial, multitudes of hospital stays, lab draws & blood transfusions, my last treatment was in OCT '09...which means I've been OFF treatment for 8 years!!! Always live the life that God gave you instead of watching it go by on the sidelines!
Being part of a military family has made me tough, but fighting away brain tumors has made me tougher. Again, thank you for your continued support through my 11 year cancer journey!
