I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Post Grad Party

Cancer is a word that enters everyone’s vocabulary at some point in their lives. Whether it be a friend, neighbor or family member; lives immediately change forever. When we hear of a child getting diagnosed with cancer it becomes a universal word : DEVESTATING. In the U.S., more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease—more than AIDS, asthma, cystic fibrosis, congenital anomalies and diabetes COMBINED! 14,583 children will be diagnosed with cancer THIS month alone. Worldwide, every 3 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer - and in the U.S., 1 in 5 will not survive. That is why getting involved with St. Baldrick’s is key. When you help to save a child’s life, you affect families, future generations, and everyone that child will influence over a lifetime. When you make a contribution, you support a scientist, which will affect not only their current work, but all the trainees, collaborators, and personnel connected to the work, and all of their future studies that will follow over a lifetime. In other words, when you choose to support St. Baldrick’s and get involved, you’re changing lives now and for years to come. Thank you all for the difference you are making.
