I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

As a member of the 2010 inaugural 46 Mommas team, I am excited to be helping the 2011 '46 Mommas Shave for the Brave' team continue the drive for a MILLION dollars for St. Baldrick's! It takes ALL of us to conquer kids' cancer.

The Story of Annika's Song

I knew about childhood cancer before Annika was diagnosed, but I did not know the degree to which it was underfunded. St. Baldrick's Foundation funds the best in pediatric specific oncology research; I am proud to support their work. Annika is a survivor, but without research, her journey might have been different. In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Your donation supports childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for survival. You can be confident that your donation to St. Baldrick's will help ensure that fewer and fewer mommas will hear the words, "Your child has cancer."
