I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Thanks for stopping by and taking time to visit my page! I've spent the last 14 years working with children with cancer and their families in and outside of the hospital, and now it's time for me to do one more thing to help them out - RAISE MONEY FOR RESEARCH!! I am choosing to shave my head and gobald for all those that never got the choice due to the treatments used to treat this evil disease we call CANCER. Hair loss without choice can be a life altering physical change that can result in emotional hardships, especially in kids, when our culture is so focused on physical appearances. I'm here to say "BALD IS BEAUTIFUL AND INSPIRING" to all those that never got the choice.

I would be honored to have any of my former or current patients and families take part in shaving my head as a way to honor you!

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So, now I need YOUR help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. We here in northern VA can continue to benefit from the grants allotted by St. Baldrick's , so let's keep it going!!! Thanks and I hope to see you at the event!!
