I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Kaydence's Krew

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Kaydence's Krew

"Your daughter has cancer." Those are the scariest four words I have ever heard in my life. And I have heard them twice, and then a 3rd time it changed a little to "Your daughter MIGHT have cancer again". Kaydence is now 5 and cancer free (for now). When you are a parent of a pediatric cancer patient, everything is "for now". Birthdays become more special, holidays become milestones, and everything gets measured in 3 month increments between scans.

We were and continue to be very fortunate to have help and support from our family, friends, and communities. Cancer is not over after treatment is over and so many children in our local area are affected by this awful disease. We can do more! So in order to give back, Allen and I started the Shaving for Second Chances St Baldrick's Head Shave Event in Topeka, KS in honor of our survivor and all the other amazing heroes that we have met on this journey. Please consider donating to help us fund more childhood cancer research to find a CURE so no child has to go through this. No donation is too small and ALL donations are tax deductible.

Thank you!
