Shaving for Second Chances

Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement.

This will be the second annual Shaving for Second Chances event in Topeka, KS! Last year we honored over 10 local kids at our event and had over 30 participants! We raised over $6,000 and this year, we hope to reach $10,000! We can't do it without you!

Our event was started in honor of Kaydence Hare, a two-time cancer survivor at the young age of 4. Kaydence was first diagnosed at the age of 15 months and again at the age of 2. Throughout her cancer journey, we met many other local super heroes and decided to start an event in our area honoring all of them. Many of them will join us the evening of our event! The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
