My Story

Maxton, or "Max" for short, was diagnosed with Pre-B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on November 13, 2013 at age 2 years, 9 months. He likes trains, racecars, books, Curious George, Monsters Inc., Chipotle and playing with his friends. Max has an infectious smile and (generally) a happy disposition. But he is now in for the fight of his young life, facing years of treatment for his cancer. When Max goes for treatment, he dons a special cape (courtesy of capes4heroes.com) and becomes "Super Max." Super Max fights cancer and makes everyone around him feel a little more brave in their own daily struggles. Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
