Event Details

Welcome to the 14th Annual St. Baldrick’s Event in Memory of Zack Willson-White. Zack was diagnosed with Wilms' tumor in April 1992, at the age of 4½. You can read more about his story by clicking on the link to his page in the honored kids section. His parents, Sandy & Chris Willson-White, started this event in 2003 as one of the earliest shavee events helping to kick-off the St. Baldrick’s movement. Over the years, this Redondo Beach event has raised over $730,000 in much needed funds for childhood cancer research. Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to Brave the Shave, volunteer, donate, or all the above, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. We have a fun Sunday afternoon in store including live music by Feed The Kitty, 50/50 cash raffle and silent auction.

All our shavees who raise at least $200, will receive a free pair of Skechers shoes! And shavees (or teams) who raise at least $1,000 by 1pm on the day of the event, will have a chance to win a Bark surf board or a Body Glove wet suit. And you’ll get one additional chance for every $500 you raise above $1,000.
