I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Las Vegas Wranglers

When I approach people asking them to help me help children fighting cancer I am often looked at as though I had 2 heads. When I say that no child should have cancer...never ever never ...they tend to nod and agree. But then when I ask for a donation to help fund research the majority of people tend to walk away or just say, "No!" .

I just don't get that, I really don't. But I won't let these people who refuse to listen, to slow me down in any way. I will do all I can to help these children and their families. .

So if you see me with my donation can, please don't turn away. If I send you an email or a message, please don't delete it. You aren't hurting me. It's the children who hurt. Any amount, and I mean any amount will help. If you go to Starbucks 5 times a week would you consider donating the cost of your coffee for a week, or a month or even a year? If you find a great bargain at the store, how about donating the difference between the sale price and the full price? There are so many ways you can make a difference. It just takes a little imagination!

So once again I'll be having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. For me, it's only hair and it will grow back. For these kids it's so much more.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. If you think that you would like to get involved in fund raising let me know. Perhaps the place you work would be interested in supporting St Baldrick's. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
