I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hair Today, Bald Tomorrow

It's time to go BALD!!! During the past four years, I have had the amazing opportunity of working as a registered nurse on the cancer unit at Kosair Children's Hospital. It is a privilege being a part of such precious lives! I would love to be able to show my patients how much I care by experiencing something that they face as they are diagnosed with cancer. Typically, most children will lose their hair during their treatments to combat cancer. So, I'm shaving my head to show my passion, love, and support to the kids that I look up to every day. By doing this, I have the opportunity to raise critical funds for the research of childhood cancer! Last year the St. Baldrick's Foundation raised more than $12 million dollars for research! In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure!and life. To make a donation, click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail or phone. Thank you for your support!
