I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Father Gregg LeStrange

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation.

We at St Joseph's are again hosting a St Baldrick's event on April 22nd at 12:30 in the Parish Center. It is with heavy hearts that our biggest fan won't be here in person this year but Father Gregg will be with us in Spirit. He was our rock here at St Joseph's Church and no matter what was happening, he lived by his favorite saying, "It's All Good." So we're going to continue to make it "All Good" by dedicating this event in his memory.

Father Gregg and I would sit side by side along with Father Mike getting our hair cut first. As tufts of hair rained down over his shoulders, his smile could be seen across the gym. He would then say, "It's only hair right?" His smiles were contagious to everyone around and he brought so much love & compassion to St. Joseph's in everything he did here. He participated in St Baldrick's because of his love of children and his love of life. Father Gregg would have done anything he could to crush this terrible disease.

That is why we continue the fight in his Honor. Please sign up to help raise money so that we will never have to worry about anyone's children suffering again. "Team Father Gregg LeStrange" is looking to stomp out cancer. We will all be in friendly competition with each other to see how much we can raise individually.

Remember, you do NOT have to shave your head to participate. You can sign up to help raise money, be involved on the day of the event, get a T shirt and feel REALLY good you're participating in such a GREAT event. It'll be "All good" without a doubt as we work in Father Gregg's honor for a cause he was so passionate about!

If you are interested in Volunteering please sign up online and we will send you information to get you started in helping. Our next scheduled meeting for Volunteers on Wednesday Mar. 27th from 6:00 to 7:00 pm downstairs at St Joseph's. Come with ideas on how we can make this the best St Baldrick's we've ever had.

You MUST be signed up online to participate, so Please help make this event the best possible. We will be assigning cutting times that is why you need to be signed up ahead of time.

Thank you & God Bless ALL of you,
