I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Pediatric cancer is the number one cause of death by disease among children. It doesn’t discriminate. It happens at random sparing no ethnic group, socio-economic class or geographic region. I'll never forget the day that Cori told me about Kaydence going to the doctor and the news following. My heart sank. After chemo, two surgeries that have left her with just a partial kidney, and many hospitalizations and procedures in between, she again was re-diagnosed in April 2018. Kaydence is just 5! She is my hero!
