Event Details

We continue our local efforts to find the cure needed by so many children and young adults in our community who are affected by cancer. There is much more work to be done to find cures for them. As the #1 funder of childhood cancer research after the US Government, the St. Baldrick's Foundation is uniquely positioned to pursue the goal of offering hope for children and families facing the hard realities of the current shameful underfunding of research for child cancers. 

The GJ St. Baldrick's event has raised nearly $350,000 so far through donations "on the heads" of hundreds of men, women, and children and through our other fundraisers since our start in 2012. We want to make the 7th Annual Head Shaving Event the biggest ever! To accomplish this, we've set our 2018 fundraising goal of $75,000 to fund life saving research to find cures for childhood cancers.

Please join us to raise funds that will support life saving research dedicated to finding cures for all childhood cancers and to raise awareness of the need for additional research funding!  As a powerful spokesperson for research funding awareness, our friend the late Delaney Clements, said “we kids deserve more”!
