Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

National Partner

Mid America TEEN CERT

This is the 16th year that I will be shaving my head for St. Baldrick’s! Each year, Mid America TEEN CERT participates in this worthwhile event, because your donations “on my head” will actually save lives.

I wish that I didn't know about childhood cancer, but unfortunately, I know all too well the pain and devastation children with cancer and their families suffer. As Santa, I have held the hands of countless kids and family members in the hospitals. I have sat with children in their final days. I have attended more funerals than I could have ever imagined. I have watched the family's aftermath of their child taken way too soon.

What’s better than shaving your head to save the lives of kids fighting cancer? Coming together as a team to raise even more!

Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures. Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease.

Please join us or support our team with a donation.

Research is hope for kids with cancer, but donations to find cures have been down since 2020. Your gift will give kids hope, supporting the largest charitable funder of childhood cancer research grants.

Let’s make sure kids know we still have their back. Please give generously, to give them the long, healthy lives they deserve.
