My Story

Lucas had a rare type of leukemia, AML subtype M7. Lucas loved being held by his mommy and eating chocolate. He liked balloons and cell phones. He really liked all the attention he received from the nurses and doctors- they made him feel like a celebrity! Chemotherapy didn't slow him down much and he would run around the hospital pushing his favorite toy of all "the dinamap" aka, the blood pressure machine! Lucas fought extremely hard for more than five months. In the end, Jesus just wanted him in Heaven. He is very missed by all who knew him.
