I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
This will be my SIXTH year involved with St.baldricks in Boston at Dillions! I have shaved my head for kids who i have met through fundraising, and now close with one family. I shaved half my head 2 years ago as a last minute thing because this is my passion and I feel out of place if those buzzers aren't hitting my head! I will be reshaving the side of my head again this year 2016 for the final St.Baldricks event at Dillions where it all stated and i went totally bald 2 times. Please help me reach my goal! I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
