I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Dear Family & Friends,
I have been asked to team up with St. Baldrick's Foundation, and I am having my head shaved in solidarity with Kids who lose their hair during cancer treatments. Cancer has affected my family and friends, both young and old and I'm sure it has touched you or someone you love too.
While the event is great fun (details below), the cause is a very serious one. More kids in the US are lost to cancer than any other disease. St. Baldrick’s raises both money and awareness and is the single largest funding source for childhood cancer research after the US government.
Without St. Baldrick’s, many advances in treatment and cures would simply not have happened.
Please support me in this cause by clicking https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/822241/2016.  Further, I would love for you to join me on April 2 at Trinity Hall at Dallas – Mockingbird Station. I have been told the its quite an experience to see someone you know get shaved.  Although the event is all day, I will send out a reminder to all my donors letting them know when my shaving time is. This event is family friendly (there will be lots of kids there) and Trinity Hall has great food (and adult beverages!). Please join me in supporting this great cause. Thank you for your support,
-MT
