I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Sooooo, I never thought I would be able to raise even this much money. I am so proud of all of my family and friends that have been able to contribute to helping me go above and beyond me goal. The secret? My original goal was $125 and I already had to adjust it once. You are all fantastic. Even better? The amazing outpouring of support I've experienced from a variety of people who haven't been able to donate for a variety of reasons. This support means just as much to me. Thank you! <3 St. Baldrick's writes what's below but we all know I can't leave well enough alone. Why am I doing this? Well, enough money can never be raised for cancer. So, here's my chance to do a little bit. We all know I'm not going to get out there and run a 5k. I whined when I did AIDS Walk NY, who wants to listen to that? Plus, I can't seem to grow my hair long enough to donate hair to Locks of Love. Even better? Now I have a badass reason to shave my head. So, pretty much, St. Baldrick's is the perfect organization for me.

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
