I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I have decided to take a stand with St. Baldrick's Foundation to help raise money for kids with cancer because this disease has stolen part of my family. I stand in solidarity with all cancer patients to fight against this disease and find a cure. No one should experience having their lives shortened or inhibited by cancer and I firmly believe that we can make a difference in lives of children and their families. I will proudly give my hair in honor of my grandpa who had his life stolen prematurely. For my grandma who battled cancer for more than fourteen years and for my other grandma who recently lost the fight with her second round of cancer. My hair, such a simple symbol of pride and sometimes vanity, will be my tribute to my family and an enabler to future survivors.
