I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Moms 4 Moms

August 14th 2003 (my 17th birthday) my 13 year old brother was diagnosed with stage 4 malignant melanoma, and given 6 months to live. After a few surgeries, chemo, and radiation his cancer was gone. Although he was never in remission, he was cancer free for almost 3 years! In March 2007 Ryan’s cancer came back and spread rapidly throughout his body. My brother’s fight with cancer ended April 12th 2008. On April 21st 2012 I will be shaving my head, not only to honor and remember my brother and his fight against cancer, but for all the other children who have been affected by this terrible disease. It doesn’t end with a shaved head. I need your help! Your donations offer hope, and to me that’s what St. Baldrick's Day is all about. So please, make a donation to this wonderful cause, with the hope that someday fewer children will be affected by childhood cancer!

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
