I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research

This year, I am shaving my head and goatee in honor of 9 year old Shane. Shane was diagnosed with a brain tumor, pilocytic astrocytoma when he was 5 years old! Over the past 4 years, he has been through surgeries, chemotherapy and multiple clinical trials.

➡️NO innocent child, regardless of age, should be receiving chemo and radiation! I stand as a face and VOICE for the warriors: Shane, Zeke, Dominick, Sara Beth, Ashlyn, Grace, Gavin, Bryce, Hunter, Harrison, Lilly, JackAttack as well as beautiful Sawyer W, Sawyer P and Hannah M who are playing together and looking down from heaven on us.

I am so blessed to have 2 very healthy sons. I am shaving my head and goatee to bring awareness and funding to children's cancer research.

➡️This is why we GROWL for these kids:

• Every 2 MINUTES a child is diagnosed with cancer.

1 in 263 children will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 20.

• Since 1980 LESS THAN 10 DRUGS have been made for children with cancer

• The average age of a child diagnosed with cancer is 6!!

• By the age of 50, more than 99% of childhood cancer survivors have had a chronic health problem and 96% have experienced a severe or life-threatening condition caused by the toxicity of the treatment that initially saved their life.⬅️
