I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Lily Bean

On August 29th 2017 our baby sister, Lily was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. This diagnosis truly turned our world upside down. We had over 100 nights where our sister had to stay overnight in the hospital. We would go weeks to months without seeing our sister and being with only one parent.

Today, we are happy to report that Lily is doing well. She is past day +421 from her matched sibling stem cell transplant. Her team of doctors and nurses at Lurie Children’s Hospital are extremely pleased with her progress. We will be forever grateful not only for the doctors and nurses that took care of our sister, but also for the love and support we received from our family and friends.

We hope to raise awareness and money by shaving our heads to ultimately fight and end childhood cancer!
