I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Balding Waldins

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Balding Waldins

For a seventh year we are working with St. Baldrick's to raise funds for cancer research and treatment. One of the challenges of something this big is that it never ends, but we can help families who are going through it now, so there can be a time when their lives are not defined by this disease.

And for seventeen years now, my day job has allowed me to work with a large number of universities and research hospitals, and St. Baldrick's provides the grants that make their efforts possible.

I am shaving my head as a way of drawing attention to how these efforts help children and their families through clinical trials other research support, and to show those families that they are not alone.

I appreciate any contribution that you can make, and in what has become an annual rite of spring, will once again gratefully tip my hat - showing the bald head underneath.  I now have several hats...
