I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bobs for Baldrick's

Hello, my name is Daniella Solovay and I will be cutting 8-inches of my hair off on March 31, 2012. I am cutting my hair in honor of my late grandfather, James E. Maass (who I called Popop). He passed away because of cancer when i was 5 years old. I was so young when he passed away that I never really got the chance to get to know him, and I never really appreciated him. Now that I am older, I realize that I missed out on getting to know a truly amazing person. I miss my Popop very much, and I am heartbroken that there are still people suffering from cancer today. In honor of my grandfather, I plan to have my grandmother (who I call Yaya) be my honorary angel, and cut my hair in his place. Thank you all for your time and support!

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm cutting 8-inches of my hair off to stand in honor of, and to make free wigs for kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
