I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Fire District 1

For the past year I have been battling cervical cancer. 11 months ago i had my first surgery that removed around 20% of my cervix. 6 months later, It came back. My last surgery was several weeks ago where another 10% of my cervix was removed. My doctors are very hopeful this time will be my last. My test results came back on 3/20, at this time there is no evidence of the cancer! Only a select few people in my life actually know what i've been going through. Having a young son and going through cancer myself I want to do anything possible to help these innocent children. If that means raising money and shaving my head for it, then let it be gone!

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
