My Story

My name is Sophie May Sewell. I am one of the happiest four-year-olds you could ever meet! I was diagnosed with stage four, neuroblastoma in June of 2012 (at 20 months old). Since diagnosis, I have completed 5 rounds of chemotherapy, had surgery to remove the tumor in my chest/abdomen, had a bone marrow transplant, endured 12 rounds of radiation, 5 rounds of Immunotherapy, and completed 6 months of accutane. I am currently No Evidence of Disease, as I have been since my tumor resection in October 2012!!! Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
