I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 2018 Team Schmolivbarr

I have the honor and privilege of being the team captain for this amazing group of shavees, volunteers, barbers and supporters. Ten years ago I watched as my husband, Craig (team captain) shaved his head all by himself in honor of our niece, Emily Barr (thus the BARR in Schmolivbarr), who is a survivor of Wilms Tumor. Over the years, we have built our team to a big loving family and we have had the joys of celebrating the bell ringing with Zac, and we have had the devastation of losing Landen and Keira. The bottom line is that CANCER SUCKS and no kid, parent, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, grandparent, godparent or friend should have to deal with the life disruption, stress, angst and worry that goes along with those awful words, "you have cancer."

This year, the most loving and giving man I know, my husband Craig Schmitz will be shaving his head for the 10th year. Our team is very proud of everyone who has ever shaved their head and Craig and I will continue doing this until we either join the ranks of those who have gone to heaven, or (what we hope happens) a cure is found and we no longer need to have St. Baldrick's events.

Please help us reach our team goal of $50,000 this year by donating either to me or someone else - it all goes to St. Baldrick's and we are all in it for the same reason!

Thank you very much for your support!
