I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Alpha Sigma Alpha- Zeta Phi

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Alpha Sigma Alpha- Zeta Phi

I was inspired by the amazingly strong women, Emily Barnett and Carly Ilg, who had previously participated in Illinois Tech's events. I then decided to participate and fund-raise for this amazing organization. I hope that whatever money I am able to raise will be able to help someone, somewhere diagnosed with cancer.  I will be donating my hair to the wigs4kids charity.

The children I have chosen to honor really touched me when I read their stories and have inspired me further to try and raise as much money as I can.

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
