Illinois Tech 2016

Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement! This year is Illinois Tech's second year participating in the Battle of the Bald. We are hoping to raise $10,000 this year, more than ever before, as we compete against other colleges across the country!  Our event is taking place on October 15th, during Family Weekend 2016, so we are hoping to get involvement from the entire Illinois Tech community. This includes students, staff, faculty, alumni, and of course parents! We hope to see you there.  Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
