We helped to raise money for childhood cancer research at: Shaving for Heroes 2022

Dear Friends and Family!!

What could possibly be more important than saving the life of a child?

I was diagnosed with cancer on May 2, 2016, as a 6 month old baby, it was a tumor in my right kidney called a Wilms tumor. My awesome team of doctors and surgeons at Portsmouth Naval Hospital worked together with specialist at CHOP to figure out the right plan for me. After months of treatments and a surgery to remove what was left of the tumor, I was announced NED (no evidence of disease) just after my first birthday. Now, 5 years later, I'm still cancer free and receive scans every 3 months to ensure I stay that way.

This year I'd like to celebrate being 5 years cancer free by getting my VERY FIRST HAIR CUT!!! I lost all my hair as a baby due to Chemo and I've been growing out my amazing curls ever since!!

I'd love your help to raise money to support cancer research for kids like me. My goal is to raise $5,000!!  Thats $1,000 for every year I've been cancer free and I pledge to cut 5 inches off my beautiful long curly hair (maybe more so that it can also be used as a donation).

Your donation will help find cures and give survivors, like me, the long healthy life they deserve. Can you help??

Sending all my love,

xoxo Addie
