Event Details

Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join Metro State College Student Government Assembly and Asteria Salon as we conquer kids' cancer. Come to this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. This event is being held on March 15, 2012 from 1-5pm. There will be a raffle, shaving, and other entertainment so, please, bring your friends! If you cannot attend that's okay, you can still get involved by donating to our cause! We are hoping to bring in AT LEAST $3000 so every little bit helps! Thanks on behalf of all of us at Metro, Asteria, and some amazing kids suffering from various cancers!
