2018 New Hope-Solebury Community Event

Our Story:
What began as a small community event to honor two classmates, Ethan Toohey (forever 15) and Robert Nagg (forever 17),  who each lost their battle with pediatric cancer has turned into one of the largest St. Baldrick's events Nationwide.  Over the past three years, the New-Hope Solebury community has raised over $250,000 for Pediatric Cancer Research.
Last year, NH-S also honored local Doylestown hero, Dominic Liples who passed away on December 7, 2016 after a 9 month battle with brain cancer. We have since created a HERO fund in Dominic's name, where 100% of all proceeds go towards High Grade Glioma research for where there is no known cure. You can support Dominic's HERO fund through our event page!
This year we are also honoring cancer warrior, Molly Worner at our event. Molly was diagnosed with DIPG in July of 2016, and after an eighteen month battle, passed away on January 5, 2018.
Each year we continue to bring awareness, display compassion, and raise essential funding to one day, find a cure.
The New Hope Solebury St. Baldrick’s annual event is held each March, from 11-3 at the New Hope-Solebury Upper Elementary School. The event is FREE to the public and includes a multitude of activities including: carnival games, 3 v 3 basketball, face painting, silent auction, raffle baskets, shopping vendors, food and a photo booth. On our main stage our “shavees” are featured with 5 barber stations and our MC running throughout the day. This year we are hosting our event on St. Patrick’s Day and we'll have some extra treats planned! St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
