Welcome to our 8th annual St. Baldrick’s event at Meehan’s, Sandy Springs. March 2014 was a big one for us at Meehan’s in Sandy Springs, when for the first time we passed $100,000 - raising $104,000!! A huge thank you to all our incredible shavees, barbers and volunteers whose continued support, passion and drive has our events growing from strength to strength each year!! In 2014, we were joined by the other Meehan’s locations (Atlantic Station, Downtown and Vining’s) who hosted their own head-shaving events, with all four locations raising over $125,000 in 2014. Since 2008, our Meehan’s events have raised more than $425,000 for pediatric cancer research and shaved over 425 heads.The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
