Another wonderful fundraising year is upon us! 2013 was our most successful year, raising over $51,000 and greater than 100 people shaved their heads raising awareness and funds for children battling cancer. Let us make 2014 just as amazing!! We have lost some beautiful children to cancer this year; we have met new, brave children who are beginning their fight; and we have celebrated with others their cure. Each, a reminder of how precious and special each child, family and life is. Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, donate or just show up to cheer on the families and Shavees, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. Registration: This year please be sure to pre-register yourself or family member prior to the event so we can be sure to order your shirts and improve flow day of the event. In addition, we will have a pre sign up night on March 7th from 5pm to 8 pm : location TBA. Sponsor the Event: Want to help - but don't want to shave your head, or get the whole company sporting the bald look? Consider becoming a sponsor. We have three levels and will advertise your cotribution level on our site, facebook page and on the day of the event. You can also donate an item for a live auction event. Sponsorship levels: Platinum aka Mr Clean Bald: $5000 and up Gold aka GI Jane Tough: $2500 - $4999 Silver aka Jean Luc Picard: $1000 - $2499 Bronze aka Mr Potato Head: $500 - $999 Volunteer: We needs lots of hands on deck to help on the day of the event. To help set up, register, making families feel welcome, clean up all the hair.. etc. Please register to volunteer only if you can commit 2 hours to the event and commit to a station. We will be having two volunteer planning events with locations and dates to be announced on Febuary 18th.
